1. Services Provided

SunlandAcres provides professional dog boarding, doggy daycare, and behavioral training services in Jacksonville, Florida. By booking a service, completing a profile, or submitting a deposit through our external booking partner, you agree to comply with all operational rules and requirements outlined below.

2. Health and Vaccination Requirements

To ensure the safety of all pets, every dog entering our facility must be current on the following vaccinations:

Rabies
DHPP (Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza)
Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Official proof of vaccinations from a licensed veterinarian must be submitted prior to or at the time of check-in. We reserve the right to turn away any pet showing signs of active infectious illness, fleas, or ticks.

3. Emergency Medical Authorization

In the event that your dog requires veterinary attention while in our care, Sunland Acres will make every reasonable effort to contact you or your designated emergency contact first.

If we cannot reach you, or if immediate care is critical, you authorize Sunland Acres to seek medical treatment from a licensed veterinarian. The pet owner agrees to assume full financial responsibility for any and all veterinary costs or transport fees incurred during the stay.

4. Deposits, Cancellations, and Refunds

Deposits: A financial deposit may be required to secure boarding reservations during peak holiday seasons or to book premium behavioral training packages.
Refunds: Training programs and completed boarding stays are strictly non-refundable.

5. Behavioral Safety & Liability Release

Pet owners are required to fully and honestly disclose any history of aggression, resource guarding, or severe separation anxiety before booking.

If a dog displays aggressive behavior that poses an active danger to our staff or other dogs, they will be safely isolated, and you (or your designated emergency contact) will be required to pick them up immediately.
The owner recognizes that group play and social boarding carry inherent risks of minor injuries (such as scrapes or dog play nips). By utilizing our services, you release [Business Name] from liability for injuries resulting from normal, supervised canine interactions.

6. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Any legal disputes arising from our services must be handled within the jurisdiction of the courts in Duval County, Florida.
