Sunland Acres LLC is committed to offering engaging programs that deepen your relationships with your pets. Our newest venture is the two week Board & Train program, which takes an individualized approach in addressing each canine’s particular behavioral needs. Necessary behavior correction in your pet can ensure full enjoyment of shared experiences. Here at Sunland we can teach old, young, or any dog new behaviors! During the Board & Train program, your pet will stay with us for a full two weeks and receive on-leash instruction in the following basic obedience skills:

• Sit
• Down
• Stay
• Place
• Come
• Heel (loose leash walking)    
• Auto sits when stopping
• Threshold manners
• Impulse control
• Overall manners

Dogs will also gain confidence on training walks and socialization outings at varied locales such as parks and the pet store. Make no mistake, your furry family member will receive as much love during the Board & Train program as if he/she/they were here to enjoy a vacation; however, training and praise will occur frequently.

Upon pet pickup, you may park and sit comfortably in your car as a trainer brings your dog out for a quick demonstration of his/her/their new skills. Then, the trainer will conduct an hour-long private training session to teach you how to maintain good behavior in your home. Board & Train includes a free follow-up class to be scheduled within two weeks of pick up. We want you to feel confident in your dog’s obedience and be able to enjoy day-to-day life with a happy, well-mannered pup! This program also includes lifetime support from the trainer!
