Lynn Lamoureux
Lynn Lamoureux is a Jacksonville native who has worked in the pet care industry since the mid-1970s. As a lifelong dog and cat lover, she was honored to step in and carry on former owner Marjorie Winchester’s legacy of providing a comfortable, safe, and fun environment for every pet in her care.
Marjorie Winchester owned Sunland Acres for 35 years prior to Lynn taking ownership. Lynn’s belief that every dog matters is evident in her hands-on approach to overseeing daily operations.
With over four decades of experience, Lynn focuses on marketing, staffing, and training while empowering her team to deliver exceptional care and customer service.
Camper safety is a top priority, and Lynn, along with COO Billy Mitchell and manager Ashley, routinely reviews and tests the facility’s safety procedures and identifies any areas needing improvement.
It has truly been a blessing to own businesses that allow us to mentor other dog lovers and to hire and train dog bathers, groomers, and kennel technicians. The most exciting part of this career is seeing the smiles from pet parents upon their return from a trip or after their pet’s new haircut, and watching team members accomplish goals they never dreamed possible!
